These two newlies, dear friends of Ashley & Dave (http://knorthphotography.ca/blog/?p=184) married in Niagara On The Lake at the stately Queen’s Landing Hotel. Anna is a green-eyed Bulgarian babe–a stunning vivacious bride who left no stone unturned on her wedding day.
I loved the bridal suite’s sumptuous antiques, the glamour of Anna’s hair & make-up and the clear joy written all over her face through the course of her day.
By Anna’s design, the wide room where the ceremony unfolded spilled forth with flowers and sunlight giving the whole space a fantastical glow. I love how bathed in light these images are! I was tempted to turn them all into dramatic black & whites. And that floor!!
I’ve offered up a small selection of the million portraits taken in the cool shade of the hotel’s tree-lined street–sunlight through trees bedazzling the backdrops.
The reception was a gorgeous scene of feminine elegance and intoxicated laughter–the speeches were bubbly, the champagne entertaining…the bride & groom floated across the dancefloor into their fine feathered future.
