An exquisite and elegant affair in the ever delightful spaces of Ravine Vineyards.
Remember these two from the wintery engagement photos at St Lawrence Market a number of posts ago? lobster and pomegranate? snowbanks in the Distillery and steaming Balzacs coffee?
Well, their wedding day finally arrived on a shockingly bright day this September and they rung it in and out with a sweet style all their own. First of all, ALERT!!: there are an inordinate number of flower images in this batch–I just couldn’t get enough of the flowers! These bouquets and centre-pieces were some of the most sumptuous I’ve encountered. Just bursting with freshness and texture–and the wonderful smell!! I wish I could blog the scent to you. “My Bouquet” from NOTL: http://www.mybouquet.ca/ certainly deserves a shout out.
Carolyn is such a bright-eyed beauty and Grant so transfixed by her that capturing images of them looking in love and happy on their wedding day was as easy as parking the car. These two fit together. Which is why I guess it was fitting for them to make puzzles out of images of themselves and turn piecing them together into a ‘meeting people’ game for their guests.
I love the enthusiasm of their tent-ful of friends.
I love the matching floral robes and the one pence coin on the shoe for good luck.
I love the abundance of libation and laughter,
and, of course, the casual classiness of the whole Ravine experience.
It was a true pleasure C&G, please keep in touch!! xo
