Two words describe Schenley & Cody: SO GAME. These two are unstoppable. It was an unseasonably cold day in May with the temperature dipping dangerously into zero, but not once did these two veer from their vision of an outdoor ceremony, a sojourn to the park paths where Cody proposed, a windy walk through long grasses. Not even after all our shooting that afternoon, after heading inside to warm red velvet interiors, after the sun had all but fled the scene and the evening was left to lake winds and bitter chill, not even then did they shy away from another trek into the cold, to Lake Ontario’s rocky shores for a sunset portrait–under threat of tiny fluttering snowflakes. A bride & groom of steel. Wedding day super heroes.
Best thing is, if I hadn’t said anything, I think you might never guess just how cold they are in all these images.
Check the charming Oban and it’s vine-laden exteriors, budding willows and pink blossoms galore. Dark & Stormys–how fitting for the day. The adorable dads. Grampa’s speech. Small numbers in a cozy space. A tiny heart in the soup. Fine food, warm words, well done.
