hoa & john: a wedding in Niagara Falls

A bright sun-shiney day in the bustling tourist epi-centre of Niagara Falls!!

What a bold move to choose one of the 7 wonders of the world as the venue to bring family and friends from every which way together for the first time. I am duly impressed—the day unfolded like clockwork, nevermind the traffic, nevermind the crowds. Honestly I don’t think John or Hoa even noticed the busi-ness of the town around them, so focused they were on each other, and the party at hand.

Hoa’s family is spread wide throughout the United States (and abroad) and John’s centred mostly in our fair province (Ontario), so I guess it made perfect sense to get hitched right on the border, right at the Canadian end of the Rainbow Bridge—-the very bridge, Hoa described later, that she walked across to meet John for the first time many months earlier.

So, even more apt.

I love the enthusiasm of these two.

They were really up for whatever during the shooting process, so there are loads of images, a vast variety of locations. My favorites: the giant stairwell of the Crowne Plaza Hotel, the multiple arches in Queen Victoria Park, and the escalators along Falls Ave.

The impromptu tea ceremony was a nice touch.

Hoa’s 7 sisters gave us a ka-zillion photo-ops on the dancefloor–as did a few wild-cards on John’s side.

I think you have a lot of fun in front of you J&H—wishing you all the very best. xo
