A gorgeous day of love amidst antiques and old world charm.
Erin is an interior designer and has a professional eye for detail. She wanted her wedding day imbued with the warmth and character of this perfectly preserved circa 1860’s mansion. Bevelled mirrors and rich drapery. Delicate ceramics and dark wood, polished into submission. Shadowy interiors giving way to a bright white veranda and a freshly mown lawn. And all these trees!! Old growth beauties. So much history in this place.
Bride & groom exchanged vows under the great big tree in the yard, adorned with giant white lanterns and encircled by their loved ones.
We stretched out for some garden party photos in the front yard, before venturing into the vineyards for some portraits under moody skies and a quick ride in daddy’s cherry red convertible.
Dinner was exquisitely executed, replete with local fare, heirloom vegetables and delicious wine pairings.
Can you believe this cake??!!
Then sparklers. Then a fireworks display.
Really—how much more romance can you pack into this perfect day?
Thank you for the trip back in time Erin & Matt. It was a gas. xo
